Cold Bay
Cold Bay is located on the tip of the Alaska Peninsula and is the gateway to the Aleutians, with rich history and front-door access to the Izembek National Wildlife Refuge. The coastal waters are populated with harbor seals, sea otters, walruses, and Steller sea lions; Emperor geese and Rock sandpipers congregate on nearby beaches. On a clear day, you will see a spectacular backdrop of the Shishaldin Volcano, the Aghileen Pinaccles, and the Palvolf Volcano.
